Wales will soon benefit from a new £95,000 computer system that will be used by emergency services in an effort to improve response times. The new system will aim to improve information sharing between police, fire and ambulance crews.

According to the UK Commissioner for police and crime, Cristopher Salmon, the public can expect a better service from all three crews thanks to the new system. The innovation will reduce response times, improve data sharing, and ultimately lead to reduced costs. The funding for the new system has come from a grant scheme run by the Home Office. The system is expected to be complete and fully operational later this year.
